X-T10 and 60mm - second hand. Then change up to the 56mm when funds allow and/or one crops up on the 2nd hand market at an affordable price.
When I bought my X-Pro1, it came with the 18mm + another lens included in the price. I went for the 60mm since it was a "macro" lens. I found that it was too slow to AF for macro purposes, even on the X-T1 so traded it in against a UWA zoom (10-24) since my macro wants/needs are already well catered for in another system. For portrait use, I reckon the 60mm is plenty good enough, even in the AF department, although if you're a fan of the ultra shallow DoF look, it may be found wanting. By all accounts, the 56mm is the better lens but at a price!
I see that Mifsuds have a 56 listed in the current ad in AP... £599 M- Boxed...

To me this screams quality pictures and if that's what you're after why not go for a Sony A7? If your budget allows. The A7 files are gorgeous and I'm pretty sure that if you get one and mount a nice lens on it you'll be glad that you did.
hi woof woof, i havent used an a7, but have used the sony mirrorless system, its what i am switching from, admittedly an a6000 rather than a7. I much prefer the handling of the fuji system. I have had fuji cameras in the past and prefer the feel and images from them. there is just something different about the rendering aswell.

Good work Scott! I'm currently shooting with both an X-T1 and X-E2 and prefer both to the Sony a7, which I just couldn't get along with. I hope it works out well for you
