Hi,

Maybe I am missing something, but, I like to use BBF and have previously done this with all of my Canon cameras, but n the XT-3 it appears that if I use it, I am not able to use exposure lock (as I think the button needs to be held in to achieve the lock) I'm sure on the Canon if I pressed and released the button the the EL was activated, is there a way of doing this on the XT-3?

Thanks :)

Thanks, just had a play and stupidly I hadn't realised that holding the shutter at half press locked the exposure.... doh!

I have my X-T3 set for BBF to the AF-L as my thumb sits just right for it, so press and shoot.

I used to use the rear thumb wheel for BBF on my X-T2. Seemed weird but it worked really nicely and was the easiest for my thumb to find.

I actually use the button on the front of the camera instead... Forefinger on the shutter release and middle finger on the button now assigned to focus.

That's when I separate shutter/focus, I'm using that less and less on mirrorless bodies tbh.
