Yes
Tempted to get one, any owners here lived with one for a while ?

They're fab cameras, not great in low light due to the small sensor but better than you might expect and you get the lovely Fuji colours in jpg files.

Yes yes yes..as Ned says, they're great cameras. I only had mine for a couple of months but it lead to me getting the x100t.

The x30 is everything you imagined - just be careful of using >iso800 as things can go a little wobbly, but still useable.

This thread is the official one for all the 'baby' X cameras. It's rather long now so just have a look at the results on the last dozen or so pages to see what can be achieved with it.
There are still some refurbished models in the Fuji shop so act quickly as they don't usually hang around - here. The only difference I could find between a refurb and new was the box.

Yeah they gave you a fuji refurbish box but is well packed and you get all the stuff that comes with it. I bought a XE2s from the refurb store and can't find a fault on the camera.

Yea there was 7 available about 12 hours ago. They are all gone now

Great little camera I use mine as a lightish walkabout camera the colour renditions are superb, I have however found the video to be a bit lacking.

I have had one since they came out they are as good as cameras get with a smallish sensor.
I use it all the time.
Like others here I have posted shots on the thread @snapshot indicated. unless you want to make prints much bigger than A3 you would never know the difference.
I have not used my DSLR since I have had it.

absolutely.... However the video is better than on the previous X10 and X20. it is just not what you would buy the camera for (which is true for most digital cameras.)

This is one taken by candlelight alone, at iso3200,So you get as least as good as you could hope for with a small sensor.

Thanks for all replies. They sold out of refurbs so the wait begins lol.

Keep a close eye on the classified ads on here, they do pop up from time to time and don't hang about for very long.

Great little camera. Its only shortcoming (bearing in mind that it's a compact so will have the usual "problems" that that ilk share!) is that it doesn't slip into a shirt pocket.

I went for an X100 in the end for the sensor size. Thanks for all replies
