Fuji x100/S/T/F Owners Thread

Every time you switch it on it opens the shutter to give you the view - then it closes it - opens it and closes it when you take the shot and then opens it again. Other things operate the shutter like putting into view more and motion panorama mode creates about 30-40 shutter actuations. The X100 Classic I had did not have a Shutter Counter but the X100S count was about 6 times the image number. The X100F seems to record about 2 times

Ahh, I see. Thank you.

this is your fault Colin, after all i said I'm just about to respond to an advert for a x100c,i cant believe I'm doing it but need funds to go towards the new 12.9 iPad pro :)

Don't do it! Just hang on a year to buy the Ipad pro, they will have devalued by more than you'll get for the X100 by then. :D

I've tried that and it doesn't work.

I am seriously deliberating whether to sell the X100F and just keep my X Pro1 / X-T1 and the three zoom lenses. The X100F is a lovely camera but I'm not gelling with it at the moment. The plus side for me is that it's really easy to carry around whilst walking and that is a serious plus but I'm inclined to suffer the inconvenience of carrying a larger camera for a better user experience.

I have the same bodies but 3 primes, the fixed bodies don't interest me much tbh, get a 23/2.0 lens, put it on the x-Pro 2 would be my "compromise"

Crouch End Zombie walk 2017

X100

I recently purchased x100 of Chris ( @SsSsSsSsSnake )

Lovely camera, superb condition.

Love the quality of images.
However, I am aware that this is first generation, and i've read loads about it's quirks.
But the focus can be really flakey. I'm not an action shooter, so it's not a problem.
But it needs some careful coaxing, for sure.

Yeah. But so worth it.

So I made the decision to leave the d750 at home for our recent trip to Disney and Sth Carolina and just take the T. Sure there was the odd time I would have liked longer or shorter and the slightly better ISO and focus of the dslr but honestly didn't miss it at all. Pocket size and always to hand.

It is, Trevor.
How are you finding the switch to the F ?

I'm liking it...but...I really am undecided whether it was the right decision for me.
Probably need to get out with it more.
I'm a pretty deliberate shooter, loved the Classic.

Quirky but Oh!!! those images..
Enjoy yours and don't sell it back to Chris. @SsSsSsSsSnake I have no doubt he's already missing it.

Some lovely work on here as per usual.

Out of interest. Does anybody use an X100 for IR? Either converted or with IR filters?
