The Fuji x100 will sync flash down to 1/4000s (at smaller apertures)

If I were to buy a YN-560 II, could I optically trigger it at 1/4000s (or, let's be honest, 1/1000s might be better) using the on-board flash? I'm very interested in the idea of killing ambient, and I love the look of it.

Additionally, could I also trigger it at 1/1000s using the YN-622 triggers ?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks! I have seen that post (and the follow-up) - they're part of what started me thinking of getting a flash. It's just, he uses expensive Canon speedlites, and I'm just looking for reassurance that the cheap Yonguon flash can be triggered quick enough optically (and hopefully wirelessly), and can put out enough light in <1/1000s, to achieve what I'm looking for.

Thanks! I think it does. If it syncs off his fancy SB as a master, it should sync off the onboard flash on the Fuji.
