Fuji X-T20 freezing ?

Try a different SD card for a bit and see if the problem goes.
 
Thanks Barrysprout - I have tried these cards and it freezes with both

Sandisk extreme 90mb/s SDHC 1 3 10 16gb
Sandisk Ultra Plus 80 MB/s SDHC 1 1 10 32gb

That doesn't look good then, presumably the cards have been formatted in camera? The fact that the problem is so easily recreated for a video would suggest it's not just a blip. Obviously the camera will still be under warranty so it's maybe worth a chat with the seller.
 
Just to add - no problem with the buyer who has acted admirably :)
 
a timely reminder to all of us, always reformat your new or old cards freshly in your newly acquired camera
