Fuji X-E1/X-E2/X-E2S/X-E3 Owners Thread

Any of you guys and gals using the xe2 for weddings or portraits if so whats your verdict?

Not for landscapes much (which it is OK at) but definitely for close ups of kids playing indoors. The 18/2 is excellent for that.

Not any more, I traded the 18mm and 60mm for a 14mm - but of the two that went it's the 18mm that I miss most. It's was just such a sweet little lens that produced the results.

I can foresee myself acquiring another 18mm at some point, or maybe trying a 27mm. Just to have a really small set-up option.
 
Is it OK for me to come out and say that despite all the ergonomic benefits of my X-T1, I prefer shooting with my X-E2. Don't know why. Maybe it's less clinical?
 
I must admit that i am very impressed with the xe1 as a whole. Might be more quirky than the xt but it's a nice piece of equipment for sure!

So how do i get it to display the SS on the screen? Pretty please...

Display button ? Toggle through the options.

Don't forget doing the same when using the evf will give you other views....
 
Hi chaps, how fast is the autofocus on the e1/e2 compared to the x100? My nikon d5100 seems so much faster. I have just sold my x100 because i found the auto focus too slow to catch my ever moving 3 year old. Loved everything else about the x100 though!

Just tried it,i think it only come up as you say only when you press the shutter,same for SP the aperture only show up when you press the shutter :)

I have x-e1, 2 and x100, the x-e2 is the fastest, the x-e1 is faster than the x100 though.

Fast moving children, are really DSLR territory though.

Thanks, may consider selling the D5100 and using the money from the X100 and D5100 towards a D7000/7100. Shame, i love the look of the fuji systems!
