Fuji S3 Pro,,,which flashgun ?

Hi all,

just bought a nice cheap s3 pro, basically as a back up camera if nothing else, what I am not sure of is will either a Nikon SB50DX or SB28 work correctly in all modes on this camera.
The camera did not come with an instruction book so I have not been able to check this.

isnt the S2 the same body shell as the D200 - if so any nikon dedicated flash should work ( I can't comment on specifics because i use 'propper cameras' aka Canon ) also you can probably download a manual from the fuji website

metz 50 or 58 nikon dedicated will work and give great results for a bit less than the nikon guns having said that ebay usually have some sb-800`s doing the rounds for decent money

Out on the wibbly wobbly Web are things called search engines. I "spoke" to one nicely and found the following nugget for you:

Nikon flash units and third-party flash units made for Nikon digital cameras also work just fine (but only the flash units made for digital cameras). For some of my testing I used the little Nikon SB50DX for fill flash and got great results.
