Hi all,

At the moment I'm using a fair old Fuji FinePix and I don't really have the cash to buy a mutts nutts model like most of you here probably have, neither do I have the experience!

Just wondering if any of you have had experience with this camera?

Thanks

Matt

Hiya

I don't have experience of this model but I have had 2 Fuji Bridge cameras previously, the 9600 and the s100fs both of which had the same 'mechanical' zoom and where excellent. The HS20 seems to get good reviews and has a CMOS sensor, review here and prices here.

I have a s9600 so can vouch for fuji making (what I think) are good bridge cameras.

Obviously compared to my 7D the specs are way off, but as a starting point it was brilliant. I'm guessing it has full manual and a/s priority on there, and if it does its a brilliant way to get started :)

Enjoy it!

My pal has one and I must say I'm quite impressed with it. Give the limitations of the tiny sensor it produces some pretty decent shots and for the money it has a nice, quality feel to it.

I've decided against the HS20 now and gone with a Lumix FZ150, more expensive but I feel it will serve me better :)

I've read cracking stuff about the HS20.

Have yuo seen the new Fuji Bridge Camera, the XS-1? Same sensor as the X10, looks promising, information here.

reading this because interested in HS20, aware of the XS1, this is due to hit the shelves next Feb at £699, some £500 more expensive - know where I can get HS20 for £199.

A mate just bought one as his fishing camera - couldn't believe how solid it felt. Good value and Fuji does make some great cameras....

Well, Here actually :-) I know they are refurbished but don't be put off and I know they are out of stock at the moment but they do get them quite often and its only £198, £1 left for a bag of chips!

I have a HS30EXR if anyone wants it, im having my S9500 repaired
