im currently using a Fuji S9600, does anyone else use one? have any opinions on them?

ised one a few times as my mate had one. Seems a nice little starter in to the camera world

i have a s6500fd thats a cracking bridge camera, its currently on loan as i havent touched it since getting my alpha. (Might sell it to fund a strobe  )

Please don't sell it till I've sold mine :D

I use one. I thinkit is a great camera, but you have to get to know it's limitations.

I have bought a cheap jessops flashgun for it, whivh makes a world of difference.

low light is not brill, but play around with the ISO and you can get something.

My wife has it's baby brother the s6500fd, 6 MP sensor, no articulated screen but the same lens. She has found it OK within the limitations of a small sensor, but not so hot at the long end of the lens.

Used one for a while and loved it, managed to get some pretty decent shots with it as well :)
It's just really slow when shooting in raw, but other than that it was a great introduction to using the different settings and a great camera to learn on.

In fact I've still got it and still use it occasionally :)

A very versatile camera , depends what you want to shoot really.

Not a great shot, just an example, they are fun to use

You know what? I'd give my left nipple, or any part of my anatomy to own an S9600. I'm actually on the look-out for one of those as a carry-about knockabout camera. I've got it's older and smaller brother, the S5600, and it's a fantastic camera in it's own right.

You might have more success if you offered cash

I have the S100fs as a carry round

i just got a flash gun for it, your right, i really dont know how i managed without one.
