I have a bit of a dilemma.. Its both a great dilemma and a pretty rubbish one to have all at the same time but here goes..
I need ti trim my Fuji equipment down. Carrying 4 bodies around with lenses is a bit daft but something I seem to do. I however now have 5 Fuji bodies and the 5th wont fit in the bag so I need to reorganise my kit.
I have the following bodies.
- 2x Fuji X-Pro2 bodies
- 1x XT1
- 1x X-Pro1
- 1x XE1
Up until now I have been using the X-Pro2 as a main but pulling the XT1 out with grip for throwing on some of the heavier lenses just so it feels right. I use the Xpro1 now and then and if I am honest it is still my favourite camera as it just seems to capture tones etc in nothing other than a majestic and inspiring manner than keeps me interested in photography although it rarely seems to produce my better images. The XE1 doesn't get used very often if at all when I go out with all of my kit but its so so small and has the 27 mm attached pretty much 24/7 which means if I'm nipping out somewhere it usually gets dragged along with me.
Now I have a second X-Pro2 (along with the grip) I don't feel so awkward having the larger lenses attached so my thoughts are that perhaps the XT1 can make its way to the classifieds before it gets to be too low a value to bother. My other thought is that I should look to do the same with the XE1 as I can always attached the 27 mm to the X-Pro1 and take that with me instead. At least it'll get used more and Ill probably have more smiles per miles travelled with a camera in hand.
What would you guys do? I need to lose something in order to keep what I have in a single carry bag. I'm already moving my Canon and Olympus gear out and recently got rid of my Sony stuff so whilst I am winning in a most glorious and heroic battle against my GAS demons I think I should maintain momentum and sell some bits on. The bonus here is more trips out and the odd holiday from the funds it'll bring me so the loss wont hurt all too much!
So step up and help me make a choice if you could please!
