Great choices to be able to pick from, personally like number 3 the best, can’t imagine what the story is behind its position though.
 
Very nice, great find. Number 1 for me, I like the detail in it.
 
really nice images for Discard(ed) and any of them would fit the theme. For me it's number 3 as it's a bit quirky and has plenty of interest (I bet it would look good in sepia too).
 
Nice find and great photo, but to me it looks more artfully arranged than discarded ;)

That first ones really good. I like the blue of the boat, the subdued sky and pole in the shingle.
 
Great set of images Dave all work for the theme for me Dave I recognise them too!

Out of the 3 your chosen image is my pick nice colours snd use of DoF.
 
Great set of shots once again, in their own way they have all been discarded by someone at sometime... or in the case of 1/2 a boat it was probably discarded by the weather and the sea.
I am torn by images 2 & 3 as they are both stunning photos, excellent use of DOF, and colour. I would love to go back in time and see them in their former lives. Thumbs up from me

Well it looks like I have my ticket although I appear to have 2 and the only confirmation I have has my mates name and reg no on it as the site went into to melt down (again) so he now has 2 tickets with his name on and I have 1 but no confirmation!
 
Like the first discarded image of the boat, but there is something on the horizon at the back of the boat that bugs me, the pinkish square just too the right between the boat and the sea. Maybe clone that out.

Thank you Paul, it was a big rusty cog behind the boat thought I`d cloned the lot out but obviously not that pink bit.
