Can anyone recommend a third party cable release for an XT-1, I don't fancy paying £35.00 quid for something that will only get occasional use.
I don't need the intervalometer or remote control just a basic one , unless they are cheap and work
 
I ordered one from amazon for £2.75 delivered. Search for a Canon RS60-E3 remote and you'll see plenty.
 
It's always worth remembering Jack the Hat for small sundries. They don't sell cheap gear, rather they sell good cheap gear!
