Hello,

Was hoping to get a Fuji HS10 for my birthday but funds just will not allow so the next best thing?

what do you guys reckon?
I realise the tele lens may reduce the quality a tad but I need more zoom!
I can't seem to find out though, if I use full zoom will it not hit the filter?
advise please.

oh yes whats this bit of a camera called?
fujifilm_s1500.jpg

thanks, Leon

Hi mrwall, you will have to buy a adapter ring that screws into the item you arrowed in your pic. i have one on my finepix s5000 its called ' finepix adapter ring AR-FX5' It might not fit yours as they are sized, mine is 55mm so check the diameter of the bit you arrowed when the lens is retracted. Check the fuji website for details. When you have one of them you can then fit filters etc onto the camera.
Hope that helps.

i`m in bolton and have the tubes which i don use any more , if you want to try them , we could meet in bolton , if they fit you can have one

, it is a 55mm thread

i have just checked and think its the 58mm you need
Cheers Steve

I'm not surprised it cuts out the corners at shorter focal lengths.
It is cheap, but it's also designed for tele use specifically.
