NoooooO!!!!... not Reala!!!

we're talking about 120... well I was anyway. Another one I use gone :(

"Da Costa advised photographers to use Provia 100F in place of 400X, Neopan Acros 100 instead of Neopan 400.........."

Huh !

100 for 400 ??

that's gonna work.....:cuckoo:

Like, we're not making wellies any more so we advise you to use sandals when it rains instead

Is (was?) Provia 400X the last 400 ISO transparency film?

A few more bite the dust, not that I am at all surprised.

I am not aware of any other 400 ISO transparency film left on the market. Its left to pushing a film.

This is a big shame, I habitually shoot with Provia 400X on my RB67 because my glass isn't fast enough to allow me to shoot handheld any other way. No negative film can come close to the look of slide yet.

I only shot 400X once (before the price skyrocketed!) and I certainly liked it as it let me shoot slide with handholdable shutter speeds on a hill walking trip where the weather was extremely dull and not exactly that bright. I guess it will just have to be pushed 100 speed slide from now on if I need that again :'(
