Well, ones on its way from toyko to me now![]()

Currently hovering over the big button on ebay, someone talk me out of it quickly![]()
Just had a look at the bank account, bank account says not this one.
Whoops maybe not...
,
I believe ebay now incorporate the additional fees at the time of purchasing now so no nasty surprises when the courrier demands ££ss
Asha... are you sure? That would seem a very unusual policy on eBay's part, and difficult to police properly
I managed to pick up a slightly battered mk1 90mm version for £212 posted from Toyko. The counter telling you how many rolls you have shot is broken but that doesn't bother me at all.
I'm expecting the customs/VAT to take about £40/50
Crap, so does this mean that, just as I'm using the Yashica Mat, square is no longer cool here and we're now on to 6x9 rangefinders?!? And I thought this was the non-gearhead forum![]()

It's always hip to be square!

Personally, I think we are moving as a forum to even more minimalist. Pinholes all the way!
I've gone completely minimalist and just remember things and do a pencil sketch when I get home.
Mine arrived this morning, not put a film through it yet but first impressions are looking good. Rangefinder is easy to use and while the camera is well used it all seems to work and the shutter speeds seem accurate (to ear).
Given it a clean and reset the roll counter, planning to replace the leatherette later on when i have a bit more time.

That was quick from Japan! If you don't mind me asking, how much customs were you hit with?

Frankly, unless you donate it to a travelling camera thread, you're just not contributing enough to the forum ;-) :-D
I like it, small, pocketable and lightweight for the days when you don't want to put your back out with the RB67![]()

Looks very nice Rob.....not envious at all

Looking forward to seeing what you can get from it matey...enjoy using it...I would I'm sure![]()
Oddly I wasnt hit with any customs fees, the label has it listed as a used film camera and as a gift with the value on it, however his handwriting is awful so it's entirely feasible that they misread it.
