I saw this in a thread on here - can anyone please explain what it means...
I'm assuming that at least one of the 'F's may not be fit for the forum and imagine that it'll be so obvious once you tell me...
 
100% inoffensive - Fixed That For You. Usually applied to unfortunate typos.
 
It's sometimes used naughtily:

FTFY

You often see it where someone changes a couple of words in a quote, usually to mean the opposite of what was posted or sometimes for humorous effect.

I don't know what many of these acronyms mean, either .I keep forgetting what IIRC means..a regular on here.. It's "If I recall correctly". If you get stuck again, just Google it, that's what I do,now. I had FTFY (above post by ancient-mariner) re one of my posts recently. I had no idea what it meant so I asked Google what it meant." Fixed that for you" So, TYG...."There you go" :D Just kidding..I've just made that one up. No such acronym.
