:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Well, I passed my driving test yesterday. It was my 2nd time. Think I got 6 or 7 minors, don't really remember as I had a bit of a mind blank when he said "You've passed"

I was completely shocked when he said I had passed, as I was just about to ask him if I could take a guess on the amount of things I failed on.
It went something like this:

Examiner: "Well, the test is now over, and I can say that you've passed"
Me:  "You are joking aren't you?"
Examiner: "No, but I can always change my mind"

A tip for anyone taking their test...if you make a mistake, tell the examiner that you realise you've made the mistake. Otherwise the examiner will think you are unaware of your mistake, and may fail you for it.

Anyway, just thought I share that. :D

Excellent advice there, i was on my test and was approaching lights and they started to turn red, i quickly checked my RVM and there was a car behind me so decided it wasn't safe to stop and ran the (just turned) red light, i then told my examinor that i didn't think it was safe to stop safely, anyway i passed my test.

BTW Congrats on passing your test, now go and learn to drive ;)

Thanks everyone for the comments!
Good luck Matt when October arrives!

Nice one mate. Congrats.
It's not easy getting through the test these days......

As far as i'm aware the letter of the law is if any part of your vehicle is the wrong side of the white line when the light turns red you're deemed to have jumped it, I am amazed you passed your test on that occasion if you knowingly jumped a red light:thinking:
