Well, sort of. Got asked to do another advertising wrap, this time front and back, so 4 pages. Re-used the backpage with some minor additions, the rest was hard slog for a couple of evenings. Still, it gave me some valuable experience and more than just pushing a shutter button!

Having trouble with the forum gallery, can never get the right size (dims or bytes)

I think there is only 1 page viewed here carol.

Like the general idea, maybe could have played around with some different sans serif fonts? apart from that top noch stuff? what were you using? photoshop or indesign (or something completely different)?

T

Hi Tom. Brief included working with existing 'style', but the net and ball are my idea. Done in Indesign using Photoshop and Illustrator.
Other pages were working to the club's vision (ALL the directors get involved, so its a bit restricting sometimes, and certain stuff has to be included).

Inside back. This they wanted to look 'Christmassy' so I tried something that didn't look too twee - like glass decorations, tinsel etc. Some of it was really last minute, down to the deadline changes!

there brill carol!

I studied Graphics for 2 years when i finished school and i'd be proud of them if they were my work! well done!

The net and the football were the best bits! :)

can see the whole thing now.

Thanks Tom. I'm most pleased with the black/white net and ball thing. The rest is trying to wrestle with a huge amount of stuff in a limited space.

yeah there's a lot of information on them and it doesnt look cluttered and its all pretty readable so pat urself on the back :D

Having seen all the others you have done they just seem to be getting better and better.

I like these Carol, you've done a great job.

Thanks, Martin and Gary.
Having the newspaper header on the front squished the space available.
I had all sorts of funky ideas, but in the end time won out and the club's mock up got selected.
I had to leave room for a last-minute flash on the front, but in the end it wasn't included, so that's how it ended.
