Hi everybody!:wave:

I`m Robert...Mexican Architect that have found that UK forums are pure quality...that's why I`m here! seems this is a great place to be full of cool people around. A friend of mine recommended me to have a peek around here an decided to join up.

Few moths ago a took the plunge and went from a point and shoot type camera to a DSLR...a modest Evolt E-420...so far so good, the problem is that I guess I`m not getting all the juice out of it by using the "auto" and other presets, I want to have a more "professional" approach to photography just for the fun of it. Hope I can learn here some new tricks and get some hints from all of ya!
 
Welcome to TP Rob, Don't think there are any Mexican based photographers on here, so you're probably the first. There are some great photographers on here, who are always willing to help and share knowledge. Hope you have a good time here. Rob

Thanks mate...yeah! I tend to do that (mingle in UK forums)....I was highly addicted to another UK forum dedicated to Vectras / Signum cars....I was the the only Mexican that took it seriously if I remember correct.

LOL your grammar is better than mine! I live in the North...in a town called Torreon....3 hours away from the big city Monterrey. If some day you come by some where near drop me a PM and hopefully we can arrange a meet up ;):thumbs:
 
Wow! I was in Monterey for a wedding in April. My advice , take as many pictures as you can, don't worry about the gear just yet. Lots of great people on this forum and good advice. Give me a shout if you visit Europe :thumbs:

Thanks mate...thats what I`m trying...shoot as much as I can....sure do I have been planing a visit to the UK since...well like 4 years now but for some reason the piggy bank is not full :bang: Hopefully soon I`ll get to visit that side of the globe ;)
