I have been browsing from earlier on in the year, and now I have just commited to buy a new Nikon D5000 c/w 18 - 55mm lens and a Tamron 18 -270mm lens.
I am 40 something, an Accountant, Married to Pete 29 yrs tomorrow and have 1 Daughter.
I hope to get some tips from everyone on the use off the Camera as I am a novice at the moment, I have recently done a 1 day Camera course, so now I am able, to use the manual settings instead of Automatic - although I am still carrying a little laminated card around with me to advise what settings are for what - such as big is blurry and small is sharp.
Does anyone else have the Tamron 18 - 270mm, I am always wary about buying something that is a cheaper version of something, I am hoping that in about 12 months, to invest in a Nikon lens (before I go to Kenya in Sept)
