Hi all
I've spent about 2 weeks reading on here and have learned a lot, what a great forum. I am not a newby regards photography and have done a lot of wildlife photography in Africa. I have lost most of my photos due to being young and inexperienced about copyright while working for an employer. I am qualified in nature conservation and worked for the SA goverment's game capture unit, gave me lots of opportunity to take some great photo's except they never belonged to me in the end. I am now settled in Cambridgeshire close to Saffron Walden and would like to meet photographers with an interest in wildlife photography near me to show me the ropes around this region, I could always help if you plan to do a trip in South Africa, Botswana and Zambia as I know of places off the beaten track.

Hi Jan and welcome to TP

Keep your eyes peeled in the meeting place section of the forum and I am sure there will be some folks close to you and some meets arranged that you could join

Look forward to seeing you around

hi and welcome
sounds like you bring more than you will take
any safari trip is a must for wildlife keen photographers
zoos and enclosures...literally 'kill' and animals vigour...and if it likes to hunt...as most do since no animal in the wild gets a free meal...then it is more lifelike and shows the attitude of the predator and hunter at the same time

Hi Ian

I am a keen wildlife photographer and live near St Ives in Cambridgeshire. I have travelled a lot in Africa in years gone by and now try and do most of my photography in UK and northern Europe.
