Here's the crack;
I've been asked by a friend to shoot their wedding. I've not done one before, but am confident I can deliver what they are asking.
They have NO budget, it is a very small wedding (35 guests) and they are not having a honeymoon.
I am doing this as a favour for NO charge. They understand that I am relatively inexperienced but are happy to have me take photo's based on my portfolio of studio and landscape shots. If I don't do this, then they will simply have to make do with people taking shots on their point-and-shoot digital cameras. I am happy to do it, they are happy to take the risk of using a novice, so please no flaming that "I shouldn't be doing this".
I've been reading through a lot of the wedding threads about what's needed, etc....
so here's the request:
I can't afford any back-up kit and I only have the one camera, if it goes wrong, I'm stuffed.
Would anyone who is local to the Peterborough area like to come along and we can work it together for the experience?
I'm not looking for a second or assistant, more someone who may want to get the experience along with me and work together (or even someone with more experience to help me out???)
I know it's a long shot and I will probably get shot down in flames, but I have to ask.

Location is Peterborough on Sunday 20th December at 1pm for a couple of hours max.
I'm not looking at getting into doing wedding photography in the future BTW! This is strictly a one-off.
