Friday at Silverstone F1 - How busy?

It's the only day I'd go and photograph

Why? If you have a general admission ticket even with big crowds there's plenty of decent photo locations, one of the better F1 tracks IMO for photography.

I'm not sure I would agree with that statement, but certainly there should be 'some' photographic opportunities amongst the crowds

I've never had a problem on the F1race days I've attended in the past? I'm Going again this Sunday though that's down to my limited options (I'm working Friday and Sat). I do like Friday for photography but that only because it costs £40 rather than a minimum of £190 to get in! The thinner crowds are much nicer but I don't find a problem photography wise on Sunday.

Try taking photos at the Singapore GP on any day, unless you're in a grandstands it's the longest lens known to man, forget it!

Hi guys.
I'm off to watch on Sunday and try and get good shots. Any advice on this? Best places to get some good shots

Pretty much anywhere TBH if you have a long enough lens. Sometimes you'll have to shoot through the fence other times you can get higher up on the banking and shoot above the fence. If you have a general admission ticket (my preference and what I've bought this year) you're best off just walking the circuit and taking your shots as and when they present themselves.
