Yes
Did the retune yesterday as per the instructions and all went well
Now today I've lost a load of channels,including Sky news,Sky 3,Film 4,ITV 4 and Dave :bang:
Could well be a local problem,my Mother is also missing channels a few miles away
Anyone else have any problems with the retune ?
...and I'm still getting that reminder message popping up,becoming annoying now

Lost IT4 in lounge and bedroom - then tonight all channels have disappeared from lounge telly :bang:

Retuned in under 2 mins without a hiccup.
Seems there are around 20,000 set top boxes that are incompatible with the new service.

Apparently some areas will lose channels like ITV4, all getting ready for freeview HD it seems.

A few channels, like ITV4 have changed MUX and it may be that the MUX in question is something that's being swamped by an analogue signal in your area.... Have a look at http://www.ukfree.tv/starthere.php for some useful information.

Try re-tuning after a few days... I have a question, I have a HD ready LCD with built in freeview tuner so if freeview launch HD channels will I be able to get them or will I have to get a seperate box do decode HD channels?

I'm not getting any Mux A channels (e.g. ITV3 and Virgin 1). Is this due to having a 2k rather than a 8k Freeview box?

Receiving you loud and clear from the repeater station, Cap'n  :D

You'll have to wait and see m8, unless the manufacturer can tell you.

Panic over, for the time being at least, the lost channels have returned home :suspect:

All went well here, but do we really need a channel that's only on for 3 hours during the day "HOME" and if they got rid of all the teletext channels and stupid look at a photo of a babe then pay to chat to someone who looks nowt like her crap, there would be loads of room for HD

If fact of the 70 or 80 TV channels on freeview I have selected about a dozen as worth putting in to my favourites list, and some of them I'll not really watch.

Freeview is become like SKY "more choice but less quality"

If you have an HD TV set with a built-in Freeview receiver, this will NOT be able to receive Freeview HD. You will need to buy a Freeview HD set-top box (with DVB-T2) and connect it to your existing HD TV set

The Life of TV.......(ish)

Black and White

Colour ..... (need a new TV)

Nicam Stereo (need a new TV)

72 Channels of **** (need sat/cable box)

Wide screen (need a new TV)

Digital TV (need a new TV or sat/cable box)

HD TV (need a new TV and/or sat/cable box)

Is it me or is it all just marketing to get us to buy new Hardware ????

Channel five has moved so its not channel five and now itv2 +1 now just says ITV, without the 2 lol

What, you mean you don't look at rabbit and gay rabbit? Daughter and I spent a good 20 minutes or so laughing at what people were posting.
Not sure who is the sadder though the people posting or us for looking.

My wife's TV gave up the ghost last year (I was still living overseas) and she bought a new one, with Freeview. I'm still wondering why she bothered. We hardly ever watch TV -couple of hours a week, if that - and I don't like widescreen! I'm not very keen on widescreen computer monitors either.

I've retuned my digibox twice, but I've lost itv, itv2 ch4 and ch5.
I'm not impressed.:(
Main freeview TV didn't lose any channels though

Better of sticking with Freesat, lot more channels and it already has HD channels available.
