Hey :)

I've got my first photographic job interview tomorrow!! I won't go into all the details but from the application it seems it is on a freelance basis, so I'm not too sure what to expect! Im putting together a small portfolio (despite it not mentioning one..) to take with me!! It will be studio based work, so I'm just wondering what I can expect, and if anyone has any hints or tips!!

Good luck with the interview.

Try and prepare as best you can. Try and think what questions you would ask if you were doing the interview, and get our answer's sorted. It's likely you'll get questions you've not thought of but hopefully most of them will be the ones you rehearsed
 
no tips here really just be early and have a drink of water or something before you go in ,stops your throat drying up.best of luck

I got the job!! Was hardly an interview, just showed me around...had a quick look at my work, a bit of an informal chat and said I start Thursday!!

See; told you preparation was everything.. Same thing has happened to me as well, but I never count on it

ere, are there anymore details you'd like to share, such as -

What you're likely to be shooting, is it for a paper/mag, is it product for catalogue stuffs, photojourn, ssssssporttzz, micro biotic toilet seat germs...what....eh...eh...:)
