Free Serif Photoplus 10 editing software with PC Pro

This is free on a DVD, well you have to buy the mag, but might suit anyone wanting to try their hand at editing without shelling out big bucks for CS5 etc.

This is available in the June 2011 edition out now.

I have used Serif software for years for vector artwork and their software is excellent. Very easy to pick up and use and very cheap but packed with features. Plus they are a UK firm base in Nottingham

They often do free software like PhotoPlus Starter Edition

Here is a little extra info about Serif 10, there isn't too much out there about it now as it is 4 editions old http://www.itreviews.co.uk/software/s334e.htm

Hopefully it will be useful to read. I would suggest getting it if you don't have any real editing software as it does a pretty good job, especially for the price of a magazine.

Yep, another fan of Serif software here, in fact I still use it occasionally for quick tweaks on the laptop when I can't be bothered firing up the desktop for CS4. The software is feature packed and for the money takes some beating TBH has most of the features of high end packages and is very easy to find your way around and use.
