free resizing sftware

does anyone know of any free simple to use resizing software
i normally use paintshop pro for editing but it seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to resizing ready for printing.
(or a tutorial on what i'm doing wrong may help)
being able to resize a batch of photos for web use would also be useful

No it doesn't need to be free but cheapish i dont want to change editing tools at the moment

Image Resizer Powertoy

It's a microsoft tool. Just right click on the pic and select from 3 fixed sizes or a custom size.

thanks folks...i'm trying fastone and keeping irfanview in reserve...

.the powertoy one doesnt seem to be compatible with vista by the way
