I want a good photographer to take some fashionable portrait photos in return for having a portfolio website designed for them.

I can't afford proper photographer rates so I thought I'd offer a website instead.

I think the fact that 75 people have read this thread and only one has replied so far with a good well wish goes to show that there might be something amiss with your request.

Its your first post and rather than introduce yourself, explain what you would like and what you have to offer in return you write that "you want" a "good photographer" to take some fashionable portrait photos in return for a website.

You then go on to say that you can't afford "proper photographer rates" hence why the website is on offer.

The first thing that stuck out for me was the lack of a "please" or a "thankyou" - its just cmoing across all wrong.

I'm sure you didn't mean to sound off but thats how I read it.

Most of the "proper photographers" around here will already have a portfolio website in one form or another, but I'm sure someone out there will be willing to give you a hand.

A little courtesy goes a long way though.

I don't think its worth any more replies to the thread to be honest. This being her only post and no others since 9:45am yesterday and her leaving her email address at the bottom of the post would indicate a post and leave scenario. Theres probably a similar post on PoTN or another forums somewhere.

Remember the similar one from the models who wanted a free shoot last year?
