Great stuff, thanks. For anyone else that curious (as I was), their website says the offer expires midnight 30th June 2011, and there will be a P&P charge of £3.99.

Still a cracking deal though

Any reviews from peeps on here?

dont know how to use their software, I tried to save my project and it wont allow me

Can you post images of the book?

I might take a punt on one, but before I splash the cash lets have some details on the books build and quality

i had a sample in, thats at work IIRC so i'll take a look.

I've ordered mine, depending on how it turns out could be a nice birthday present for someone :D

Ordered from Albelli last year.
It was good quality (compared to Photobox) but make sure that you proof test the product before you order. I hadn't checked the opacity on 2 pages (my fault) and the pictures came out overlayed on each other. My fault completely, but one to watch out for.
Overall the product was well packaged and my wife loved it - it was a gift for her!

I received mine today, which was ordered last tuesday, so there times are pretty good. Overall quality is very good indeed, I had no idea what quality to expect, but I am happy with it. I just decided to pack the pages full of images as it was all of my daughter from birth to 5 years. So a damn good bargain for £3.99 postage. Skin tones are represented very well, as are whites in some snow scenes, they are nice and clean. It's worth it.

That's good to know, I decided to put photos of my dad, sister and our two dogs in, that way if it's any good it can be part of my mum's birthday present! How long did yours take to arrive?

I received an e-mail today

Dear Customer,

Thank you for placing your order with albelli.
During one of our internal quality checks it was determined that your product did not meet our quality standards. As such we are in the process of reprinting your order to ensure delivery of a product that does meet our standards.

Unfortunately this will result in your order being delayed by a few days. We will send you a confirmation by email when your product is ready for shipping.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Seems to show they care about quality.

Thanks Matty, I was just in the process of making a photobook when I spied this thread. You just saved me £11 ;-)

When mine comes I'll post up pics etc. It says delivery is 7 working days.

Just for the record, if you want a title on the front cover, this is an extra £2.50, and delivery is indeed 3.99, so I just paid £6.49 for a 25 page, hard backed, linen covered photobook :D

Thanks Matty! :) x

I got mine today and I'm really pleased with it! :D

I used the voucher against an A4 photobook so got it for £15 inc. delivery and I'm far happier with the results than my last one from Photobox. The software is a cinch to use and the layout options far more flexible than Photobox's.

I'm delighted with the print quality too.

Thanks for the link Matty ordered mine should be with me in 7 working days

Thanks for the link, I have always wanted to see my work in a photo book, they are usually very expensive, but for the price of a £3.99 stamp you cannot complain! Thanks again.

I ahve tried a few photobok systems on and off line.. always gave up.

Downloaded the software for albelli and it was a breeze to use.. dead easy.. I made a big book I ahve been meaning to do for ages.. got leather cover and front page wording . 42 pages all in the approx A4 size

cant wait to see it based on all the above posts :)

used them few times

great quality for the money and quick service

software is easy to use, well worth a try for £3.99

Mine arrived today great quality and will be using again Thanks Matty

I think yours is very good! I might centre some of the images a bit more, there's one on the left hand side (Two pics) They look a bit too high...just a thought.

I did one a few weeks ago and got a 15% discount too, but the £15.95 thing lasts until the end of June, so I'm assuming you can order another? Better than 15% :)
I just looked...one per customer :(

I had no idea you got an online one! I'll have to go back and look at my emails now

Got mine through the other day and i must say that i am very impressed with the finished article. Makes my work look really nice. The colours seem very acurate to what i would be expecting so no complaints thanks again!

Ive just ordered one - what a bargain. Cant wait to see the quality.

am doing mine now, its very easy to use, except I dont know how to change the order photos rather than pages are in and then get it to redesign the book based on that

Did you do Manual fill Sam? If so you can put them where you like. Or click and drag one page to another in the film strip view at the bottom :)

I auto filled, but I am beginning to think it would have been easier to start from scratch!!!!!

Thanks for the tip - I was wondering how to move pages, its taking forever!

These are from when I first got the DSLR, its tempting to start now, but I want to do a few going back.

Dear Albelli

This translates to

Dear Sir

We have had a huge amount of orders because of the offer and your book hasn't been printed yet. We'll get there, just be patient.

Ok.

I am suprised nobody mentioned the online book they give you? I got an email today saying my book is being shipped today and i can have a free online copy if I want...

Don't laff. my first attempt.. next time would add logos and some intro text

PS.. and 15% off next purchase ..

Good point. Here's mine. I was a guest at a friend's wedding which is why there are no posed shots. The sepia one of the bride was a fluke as I caught her walking around the grounds of the reception venue and she stopped to wait for a bridesmaid to catch up.

It took a couple of hours at most doing a manual fill and that includes familiarising myself with the software. I love how easy it was to overlay the images and adjust the opacity to create full-(double)page backgrounds. If you don't like the autofill, just start the whole thing from scratch and do it manually; it really doesn't take that long once you have the ideas in your head.

I know it says one free photobook per customer, but I suppose that actually translates to "one free photobook per email address". :naughty:

Received my book today and am over the moon with it!!

I photographed my best friends engagement party so the photos went into this book and I'll be giving it to the couple as a present. I opted to have the personalised photo cover for an extra few quid. Really looks the business!
