free photo software

hi i just wondered if someone could point me in the right direction please , im trying to find some editing software for my windows pc and have no idea what or which software to use to edit a couple of pictures i cannot afford to get Photoshop unfortunately

Photoshop cs2 is free from the adobe site just sign up to get a adobe ID

Faststone is worth a look.

onOne software has a good name in image processing and this another one of their products which is free.......plenty of video tutorials too

Note it might not work with older computers (or low spec) and needs vista or win 7.

Faststone is worth a look.

I agree on Faststone for Windows, it's excellent. I recently bought a Mac, which sadly isn't supported.
