Free Nikon sensor cleaning?

Just seen a mention elsewhere that Nikon offer free sensor cleaning.

Is this true and if so where do I apply? :p

This is the first time i've heard of any such thing in 3 years of shooting but if it's true, I might as well use it...
 
I know Canon do it once for their camera's under warranty, and charge around £25-£30 otherwise, I wouldnt be too surprised if Nikon offer a similar service.

Just back from a Nikon day in Leicester - NPS scheme seminars and servicing on the spot, not just sensor cleaning, but firmware upgrade, lens cleaning and regulating of the systems too.

Must say, i was very impressed with the D700 - basically the same as a D3 in a lighter body. Lower FPS rate and no bottom shutter button, but you can get those with the battery pack add on. If you don't want the bulk or weight of the D3, then the a very good alternative.

there was also a D90 to play with - brilliant video mode for capturing video if you ever need it (I need someone to come and do some video of my kayaking safety drills....) and the ability to capture stills off the video. Stop fiming, shoot a still, carry on filming. Not many video cameras in the amateur league that you can just use any current lens on - witht he D90 you can video with any of the camera lenses....brilliant.
 
lensflare - Does the D90 have the ability to video, and take a picture during filming without interupting the video?
 
I doubt it - but you would be better asking Nikon. I only saw it there and had a play with it. For anyone that does covert operations, like private detectives.......I would think it is very handy.
