I know there are loads of mags out there on photography but I'm sure someone will be interested in this. If you like their Facebook page you can sign up for a free copy. You just fill in some info and they give you a call back. I signed up yesterday and I got the call today to confirm my free copy. Once I did that I thought they were trying to talk me into subscribing but they offered me a trial of the subscription. Another 3mags on top of the free one for only £1. They said once you get your last magazine of the trial you can cancel the direct debit if you do not want to carry on with it. Therefore in total you get 4magazines for £1.

I know there are probably better magazines than Digital SLR, but it's what I like even though it can be repetitive, but what magazine isn't? and to be honest can you really complain about 4issues for £1? unless I have been taken for a *****:lol:

Just thought I'd share with you lot.
 
I think most of them do these sort of offers; subject to direct debit.

When I subscribed to NPhoto I got something like 3 for £1, then I continued the subscription at however much it costs.

I like the magazine and don't mind paying for it, I don't find it that expensive anyway.

Yeh the subscription for it is 3 for £3 then however much afterwards every 6. They offered me 4 for £1. Will more than likely sign up for it after the trial as I have every one since last october. I like reading about stuff I can't afford lol.
 
I saw mention of an article in DSLR about a 'moody landscape photographer'.

By hell I can be moody myself sometimes!

Digital Photo is mostly photoshop stuff whereas Practical Photography is more general (I prefer the latter).

I like it, have every one since last october when I got my first camera (olympus pen epl2). Is your double page spread in the one that has just come out this month? I haven't managed to get it yet but when I do I will have a look at that:thumbs:

Cheers, didn't know that about the clubcard. I do all my shopping at tesco and manage to treat the kids to days out with exchanging the points into day tickets to places like Legoland...When I say kids I really mean me. I'm 25 and I still love Lego Technic:lol:

I'm a finalist in the shoot the cover competition,so off to Cambridge on Tuesday for the final!:eek:
