Positive, you send an email to dxo via the disc and they immediately send back a code and not only does it unlock the pro version but it updates it to the Elite version.

I might just be popping down the shops tomorrow......

It is the full version.
I subscribe to this magazine and thought it was just another trial. However no it was not and it was a treat to see the email come back so quickly with the license and it works really well.
I have not had the time to learn how to use it but I would say it is a super free gift!

Might not handle raw files for some of the latest cameras?

I can't find any magazines in Luton. Anyone here with a code that they won't use? :/

I'm using DxO optics pro8 elite with filmpacks 3&4 for my RX100 & it's superb stuff

You can also get it free from this link ;) (from a similar offer in a German magazine - enter email to get unlock code and then download from next page):
http://www.dxo.com/de/digitalphoto It says offer expires June 2013 but it still seems to work. :)

List of cameras supported by version 6 here: http://www.dxo.com/sites/dump.dxo.c.../dxo_optics_pro_6_unterstutztes_equipment.pdf Includes Nikon D3, D90, D300, D510, D3100, Canon 5D Mkii, 7D, 550D, 600D, 1100D, Sony Nex 5, A33, A55, etc.

Wow! I remember v6. It was so slow that you could have observed the movement of continental plates while it was doing some tasks. Luckily it normally crashed after a little while.
