Free DNG/Raw File Editor

I've just got a Lumia 950 which gives you the option of shooting in raw/dng. Is there a free raw editor that I can download and have a play around with (for PC, not phone)? I don't want to buy one as I don't know if I'll use it much. I tried rawtherapee but it keep crashing.

Download the 30 day free trial version of Lightroom.

Should be plenty of time for a play.

It's also got a lot of functionality after the trial ends.

Lightroom phone app is free and can edit raw files. snapseed is to. I seem to be using it exclusively at the moment it's a great app.
