Am I being dumb, but can't you use the 30 day trial for free without a code?

Or does the code they send allow further use of the software beyond 30 days?

The link says you get the full version of the software so the code pesumably removes the 30-day limit.

Quite limited actually - but then for a freebie it's not bad. I did demo the pro version, and while it's got some nifty features, it didn't convince me to switch from what I'm already using - especially considering the price of the pro version.
 
many thanks, I've just setup a new pc for photo editing alone so I'll see how this goes before installing the other software.
