There isn't much that really has me in hysterics on the TV any more, I can remember Porridge, Rising Damp and Steptoe and son all managing it but very little in the last 20 years.

I watched an episode of mock the week, frankie boyle said this

The Government has announced they hope the 2012 olympics will instil a sense of national pride in the british people.

It's going to cost 9.2 Billion Pounds, for 9.2 Billion pounds we could write **** off Germany on the Moon

I love Mock the Week, it has me in tears sometimes. Frankie Boyle is funny, although the bloke off Peep Show gets on my nerves

I agree Frankie is good, dosen't care what he says or offends.like the prog also

It's one of the better programs on tv atmo. Funny though, when FB tells that joke up here it's England, not Germany ;)

I hate Frankie Boyle with a vengeance - another of those Scots who moves to London and then spends his time rubbishing his home country in a vain attempt to seem "cool" to his new English audience.

Sory to disagree you but he is an entertainer, an actor, who is paid by his audience to entertain them. It doesn't mean that he actually believes what he says. As has been pointed out, he has a version of stories to suit the audience - MTW = "write **** off Germany on the Moon" and substitutes England for Germany for English audiences; probably subs England for France for German audiences.

Don't be so sensitive, 'chill' and have a laugh

Bob,I'm not being sensitive, I just think Boyle comes across as a Scot who is desperate to be English, like a slightly funnier version of Gordon Brown. ;)

The man's got to make a living :)

Flashie.....get some sleep man!...............:)

Frankie's awesome. Mock the Week is one of my favourite shows!

we were in the audience for an episode of Mock the Week a few weeks ago and Frankie was excellent as usual. In fairness Flash, I think he mocks every nationality, not just his fellow Scots, it really is theatre of the cruel, but one can't help but l-o-l at him.

I was speaking to someone today who reckons he needs a good kicking.....

which is really surprising language from my 75-year old mum

BTW - Have you changed your avatar, or are you incognito?

New avatar :D

Love the new avater and Frankie is so funny. Love the joke about the aliens.

'I dont know what noise this alien is making but it is some funky s**t' Cue lil dance and me in tears of laughter.

I've got tickets to see him in Winsford a week on Saturday. He's hilarious and very dangerous, nothing is sacred, everything and everyone is a target.

Hey, what, he is in Winsford?!!?!?!??!!?!!?

That he is young Matt, and I've got many tickets (well 4 for me, wife and friends). Its probably too late but if you phone the Civic box office they may have some left.

Andy

I am probs to young

Are you 16 Matt? I went to see Ben Elton, who used the 'c' word on several occassions, when I was 16 and there was no problem getting tickets - they're usually (pardon the pun) 'funny' about age at comedy clubs, as they're licensed premises, but they usually treat tour comedians like they would a touring show (with the exception of Chubby Brown!!) :)

That's the one, and everytime he said it he followed it up with a swear word beginning with c. ;)
