Thanks for the link. Looking at how these cameras were made it's no wonder they were/are so expensive and of such good quality.

When you see shots in such detail like this I guess you can appreciate how and why they were expensive.

Absolutely concur. Hand made and the epitome of precision, which is why they are still amazing pieces of machinery even 50 years later.
