So had to rush a few shots today on fp4 120 could not find my light meter, did 125 on the shutter and f8 managed to find a meter in the end that gave 125 and f16 so giving me a 2 stop over.
if i give it 1 min or two min less in the dev that should take care of the over exposure and bring it back to a normal dev time if my thinking is correct and give me less overblown negs, or is it best to process at normal times and can the fp4 cope ok with 2 stops over.
cheers all

I think I know what you've said here, although the dearth of punctuation makes it difficult to know for certain...

At any rate, how sunny was it when you took the original photograph? How much time passed between the exposure and your light reading? Did the weather/light change much during this period? What time of day? Were there very distinct shadows?

A photograph at 1/125th and f/16 would be for very sunny conditions with distinct shadows according to sunny 16 for FP4.

I just want to make sure that your actual exposure likely matches that reading before giving any advice on adjusting development.
