It seems as always hollywood is running out of ideas so they decide to modernise/ruin classic films that aren't broken so dont fix them, a bit like sally's yellow porsche. one minute its all dented and scratched up, then when arnie flips it back up its brand new. But I am not happy about this at all. and judging by that link, nobody has given any positive comments about it. I really think fox needs to be told that they really are wasting their money and that this film is a fail before its even made. Leave it alone

I still love the dialogue between matrix and bennet at the end. I still recite those lines now when drunk with mates.

"you don't want to shoot me, you want to stick a knife in me... so throw away dat chicken **** gun and...... Get To Da Choppah!"

The only thing that film was good for was introducing Alicia Milano to the world!

Murdoch/Fox isn't in the business of making good films, they are in the business of making money and cheap remakes will do that every time.

Oh come on, for it's time in the 80's it was a classic action movie.
Don't forget the lines:
Remember Sully when I promised to kill you last?
Yes. That's right Matrix, you did!
I lied

*splat*

The new Predator comes out in the summer!!!

Leave it alone, I say as well - mainly because it was utter crap...lol
Plus it had in Bennet the Biggest Gay Villain ever...
That baggy string vest was something else...Mind you the actor that played him was slightly baggy as well...
"I can take you Matrix, I don't need the gun"...lol

Rob is this reminding you of your baggy string vests, cotton suites and white loafers worn without sock during the 80's?
Cos it is me!

I was more the leather jacket and unwashed jeans with a broken Triumph in the shed...lol

I wonder if it will still have the same 'one man shooting hundreds of baddies and them all missing me with their machine guns' :)

Damn I was madly in love with his daughter. OK She was what, 12? I was about 9 or 10 at the time :p

Or the expanding (i.e. never-ending) belt of link on that M-60...lol

And a classic quote indeed!

I hope they leave it alone,
its somewhat corny now, but still good for a "mindless chill out"
