Fotospeed fx20

Most fixers have similar times, i dilute 1+4 and fix for 5 minutes, but it doesnt matter if you fix for longer, you can't over-fix film very easily, if at all :)

Dilute 1+4 with water at 20 degrees & leave it in for 5 minutes - whenever you can be bothered taking it out. Fixing times are universal, not film specific

1+4 for 1 minute for film according to the bottle of fx20 I have - I used it as recommended and it was absolutely fine. My dad thought it was very short but I did as the bottle said and I couldn't see any problems with my negs.

if in doubt dunk the film leader in it and watch it do it's thing and see how long it takes for the dunked bit to go clear.

yep - clip test - clip a bit of film off, see how long it takes to clear it, then fix for twice that duration...
