Forum name

Simples!!, mine is the name my parents gave me :)

The 'S' being the first letter of my surname, and the 2 because there was already a DaveS registered.

'Forum names', that are not real names, remind me of when my kids used to play around with CB, back in the 70's.

Haha nope but I think I know who you mean..
I didn't choose cheeky geeky myself though, it's an old school mate of mines fault, she could never work out getting music from PC to laptop so always shouted for me 'geek' .. So I'd tease her and called her a plank so for sometime now it's been 'cheeky geeky' :D

Sent from Button Moon.....

I had assumed you were Computer generated - that would have made you like virtua girl I guess. :p

I used to ride an old Marin mountain bike and I'm not so young myself, so like Pookeyhead, it made a nice alternative to the macho names on some forums.

For months quite a few were trying to guess what the CG stood for over in the 'what is it' thread.... it was amusing some of the guesses... computer generated kinda tops them all lol that made me chuckle

mine is Kingo is used for anyone who served in the the Kings Regiment,(1685-2006) 46 last 2 numbers from my service number

Nope. One doesn't need to grow up to be a man unless you mean upwards!

Didn't we have this thread a couple of months back?

Just a gaming name I had back in the 90s. I thought it a refreshing change from all the overly macho names silly little boys live vicariously by.

The avatar I've always had, and has no relevance to the name. Just something I sketched while bored at school one day... way back in the 80s. Always had it as an avatar in forums... I can't even tell you why. :)

You told us that the other month!

yeah, I thought there was another thread... couldn't remember, and couldn't find it.

Mine is philosophical - life is what you make it and you make your mark upon it.

Nothing to do with Photoshop !

Mine was given to me by the guy who was my City & Guilds photography tutor. We subsequently became good mates, but he already had 2 other friends called Bob (or Robert). To differentiate them, he called one Tea-Cosy-Bob because he constantly wore a woolly hat, the other he called Todger-Bob (don't ask)..... I work for BT, so became BT Bob! Simples.
The Avater is a scan of a beer-pump badge of a limited edition ale made by Brains Brewery to celebrate Cardiff Arms Park.

thats good because i dont think they'd let you change your username to" p***edoldblokelayinginthegutter" without a fight :)
You can always ask, it never hurts to ask :D

First forum I joined already had a member called Dean so I used the name of the beer I was drinking, Staropramen. A number of us met up one weekend and, after several drinks, one of the ladies couldn't pronounce it and called me Strap-On Man instead - aided by the hilarity that only comes from beer, it stuck. My forum name was changed and later shortened to Strappy.

The avatar pic is a rare selfie taken when loading a Minolta Hi-matic 7s. :)

So will you please change Hugh's forum name to p***edoldblokelayinginthegutter"? Please!!

I second changes Hughes name... come on come on!

See! And T is so keen on the change she'll even pay his bar bill to get him there!! :D

Mine's rather self explanatory. Although I've never really had a nickname that stuck . . . or at least not what I know of. :cautious: :D

Unfortunately only admin can do that, Mods can only suggest. ;)

Well you have "Michael Fish"
so that's close I guess :D

I originally copped the nickname moose from the rugby team at university for being 'flaccid and ugly' - subsequently a girl gave me a big soft moose (who now sits on my bedside table as he's just the right size to put my glasses on while I'm asleep)

FTFY :)

There are some strange people in here

OI - moose aren't "flaccid and ugly" they are huge proud majestic animals with massive horns ;)

and someone who looks like bod isn't well placed to comment on anyone else's looks
