Afternoon all! As per the Ford website, they run a 75 point inspection on their 'Approved Used' vehicles. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the actual checklist?

I need to query something with the Ford dealer I bought my car from back in May, and I could do with getting hold of a blank copy of the checklist!

Did they not provide you with a tick list of what was checked - which should be the 75 point inspection ?

I saw that one, but I'm 99% sure it's the American version!

It wasn't...
Long story time: the NSR tyre was replaced by a previous owner, which isn't usually a problem in most cases. I went to a garage for a replacement OSR tyre last week due to a puncture and they noticed the NSR was a different profile (195/45/R16) to the rest (195/50/R16), therefore an instant MOT fail - which was booked for a few days later  (Not to mention immediately putting me at fault in the event of an accident!)
So, two new tyres later the car flew through the MOT back at the dealership with no advisories. I made them aware of the issue, kept the old tyre in the boot as well. I've said that obviously I'm happy paying for the new OSR tyre, punctures happen and that's just life with motoring as far as I'm concerned. I'm asking them to reimburse me for the NSR tyre, might be tricky as without a checklist given to me at the time of purchase, there's no way to prove what kind of tyre was fitted to the NSR. However, the counter argument is that surely it should have been picked up in an inspection prior to sale! Hopefully hearing back from the branch manager on Monday, wish me luck...

I'd imagine only the depth of tread would have been checked along with any signs of damage to the tyre sidewalls. Tyre profile is likely to be overlooked. It's not really something they would be looking for. I'd even be surprised if it would be picked up on an MOT as they would be looking at the same tread depth and wall condition. Hopefully they will reimburse you for the cost of the tyre though.

Pretty much what dave said above, suck it up and move on.
