I have the original Moto G and it got the update this morning when I checked - settings - about phone - system update

Lollypop is looking really nice

Thanks for the heads up, downloading now. Hopefully it addresses the weird issue I have were background apps just close when multi tasking (ie Music will switch off when I open Chrome).

any annoying bugs on v5? Saying that I should probably get vanilla ROM in case there is some GCHQ backdoor in the Tesco version.

Not on a Moto G but I am running 5.0.2 on my LG G2 and I have to say I find lollipop far better than Kitkat. The interface is a breath of fresh air and battery life seems better too. I can now squeeze 2 days out of a charge with either 4G or Wifi constantly on and a good wack of internet activity throughout the day.
