I got this email today.
I'm guessing by my previous experiences that not everyone will get the email so thought i'd paste it here.

"We are sorry to inform you that we are currently facing delay in processing the payments for the Canon Cashback. We truly apologise for this.

Your payment is in process and as soon as it is completed we will forward your cashback to you.

If you do not receive your cashback within 20 days please log on to check your request at http://canon.submissionstatus.com "

Just got our cheque (lovely wife bought me 400D for my b'day) about 2 weeks after their own stated extended time. Funnily enough they didn't offer to pay any interest...
 
Same e-mail message, waiting 6 weeks, don't mind if it eventually turns up.

40 days? That it? They've had both of my submissions for 3 months now.

And yes, i got the same email.

I had given up waiting for the cashback, and thought i'd never get it. If it comes, it'll be a nice little surprise.
 
Dragging this thread back to life - anyone had theirs through yet? 20 days has come and gone and still nothing. The website says the same, being processed. Time for a phone call methinks...

Its always taken months and months with me before. I'd only bother getting on their case after about 3 or 4 months.
 
It has been months, then they sent an email saying it would arrive in 20 days - it didn't :(
 
Ah sorry wasn't with it. Yeh guess thats a bit off after sending out an email stating 20 days.
Strange wording on the email now i think about it... We're just supposed to check the website if it doesn't come?!
 
Still waiting too - called them and asked me to call back next week.
 
I sent an email via the online form asking for a date by which I can expect my cheque. The reply?

"I show you have a request in processing"

Oh for the love of god...

Maybe the cashback fund was wisely invested in Iceland? :lol:
 
Ooh, I just had a call from Canon Cashback in Ireland. My cheque was printed today and they also offered to send me a 512mb CF card as compensation. I said it was very nice of them but to be honest I would prefer if they had just been a little more upfront about the problems instead of stringing people along. After all, they are simply processing forms and sending cheques not doing a deep background check for a job at MI6 :lol:

Lol that's such a useful reply given that that's what the status site is for and reports :bonk:
 
Well well well...

Today I received an envelope from Ireland. Inside a comp slip from Continental Promotions International Ltd and, erm.. nothing.

Looking more closely the envelope shows a mark about the size of a CF card and a hole along the edge where it's been "removed". Not too worried about the card but I presume my cheque was in there too?

Will it never end?

Spoke to Canon, they're cancelling the cheque and it will be 3 weeks before they can send another.... :bang: :bang:

I finally got my Canon Cashback on Friday along with a 512MB CF card :)

I'm pleased that they finally sent it, but not so pleased that it took several complaints and emails for them to do it.
 
If it is in Paddyland, 003536280308, leave message on machine, I got call back, £45 in two (2) days, last week.

Well after about 5 months i've finally got mine :lol:

It's been so long it almost seems like a present rather than money back that i factored into the original purchase decision.
