Football what size to wire at?

At half time what size should pics be wired at ie 1600/2000 pix ? agency says 3000pix that seems to big to me!

The size you wire at is the size the agency asks for .. so 3000px is correct.. I ahve always gone for 2500px at longest end as thats what i was told when started.. If important shot with a long pull in then I will go as small as needed.. Your 3000 isnt much more than a standard 2500

Your 3000 wont be written in stone.. they will expect you to aim for that.. but as I say.. a distance shot of somehting important that crops smaller and they will be OK .....I would imagine

If you're saving the file properly, it shouldn't be that big at all. My default is 3500px at 70% in Lightroom (about 8 in Photoshop). At that resolution your file size should be around 1-1.5 MB, which isn't really that large.

If you were installing a new kitchen and asked the fitter for a 3 meter worktop and he turned around and said a 2 meter one is fine you wouldn't be happy and would use another fitter.

i.e. give the customer what he asks for or he will end up going somewhere else.
