I cant believe that i am the ONLY West Ham fan here :D

Anyone going to be watching the AEK Athens V Everton match tonight?

I'm an Evertonian and watch them as often as I can but with 11 first team players on the injury list and a back 4 that's likely to consist of a bunch of young kids I'm not holding out much hope for tonight. It's on ESPN at 6pm which means I'd need an early finish from work then straight to the pub so I'm not sure I'll bother going through the pain.

you're not responsible for the Purple ford KA with blue bumpers and trim, topped off with a big west ham crest on the bonnet are you ? I've spotted that around Hampton (Peterborough) a few times. Number plate ends WHU.

No not money bags Chelski !! - Clitheroe FC - Unibond 1st Division (North)

Non league football - warts and all - muddy, sloping pitch but its brilliant:thumbs: ( just ask Kipax - he's been a few times)

Any togs living in the NW - want to hone your sports action skills then get yourself down - I can vouch for the pies and hot Vimto - deelicious

Another twist and some great fixtures - Looks like Man Utd came out well this weekend.

I'm going to Tottenham next saturday for the match against Wolves. My little grandson has won the chance to be a mascot. I have been a life long Tottenham fan but havent been to any matches in the last few years due to my disabilities. I'm hoping I will be able to manage it OK. I cant walk more than a few yards but I'm told that I should be able to park on the street close to the ground with my blue badge.

I only have a 70-200 lens for my Nikon D60 but I am hoping to get some nice shots of my grandson when he goes on the pitch with one of the players.

Any advice would be appreciated

Just watched the Mighty Kingstonian put 3 past Hendon. Weird season, without much consistency we`ve managed to get up to fourth after losing the first five matches and conceeding 25 goals in them..

Sutton Utd away next saturday. Should be lively..

great world cup draw for england, although i dont believe it will be as easy as people are making out. algeria have just beaten egypt who are quite handy and slovenia have just beaten russia who were one of the best teams at the last euros. usa have recently beaten mexico also.

that said i think we will thrash them all :D

Its an alright group for England, however, its also easy to slip up and make total muppets of ourselves against lesser teams.

We wont win it this year unless Carlton Cole shakes off this Injury and gets to start. Hesky is old and has always been thought of as a weak goalscorer, Carlton Cole is the perfect person to play along side Rooney and Defoe (Which ever is on, or both). Its a shame Dean Ashton looks set to retire as he was the most promising centre forward in England. Typical, he did the damage while on England Duty.

Not a Tottenham fan so I can't be specific but I would have thought family of the mascot might have been given a parking space? Could be worth a call to the club and explain the siutation, see what they say and if they have any advice on where to park?

Hope your grandson has a good day (although not too good - I'm a Wolves fan!! :D) I suspect he will though.

My team now plays at sportsdirect.com@St James' Park

:shake:

+1

Newcastle through and through, gave my season ticket up a few years back after having one for 12 years, looking to go back though, followed them to Wembley, had some fantastic memories over the years but things have gone down hill quickly, lets hope they pickup again soon though

Just an update on Mark Halsey he has been going through the treatments and has now been given the good news that he is in remission. His wife hasn't quite made it yet but she is improving. He is hoping to make it back on to the pitch as a referee at some point to show people you can actually beat cancer.

Great news. Its always good to see people beating cancer.

Off to Argyle in a mo, well chuffed, I've managed to blag attendance on a corporate visit so get the whole nine yards, tour of the ground, meet the players, lunch, drinkies, etc.

Even though I have been a supporter for over 40 years and a season ticket holder for many of them I've never done this sort of thing before, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Bit miffed though as we are allowed to take digi cams and compacts but no SLRs.

Dear oh dear. Not a good time to be a Liverpool fan. :(

United's defensive problems there for all to see today !

What a fantastic weekend's football. And the champions elect haven't played yet :)

So, Benitez promised Torres he'd be playing CL football next year. He didn't say which club that would be with :D :D :D

So who is to be the next manager at City? You have 12 minutes to provide answer.......

A statement is to be made at 7 this evening.

Bye bye Sparky?

Rafa ?

Perhaps Jose.....he's good with money.

I fear it may be Guus :( Although I thought he had signed up with the Russians just the other day. That may have been a smokescreen.

Roberto Mancini by all accounts but who knows.

Well the day was great but the football from both teams and especially Argyle was rubbish and we lost again.

I am now fully resigned to the fact that we are going down this season!

Roberto Mancini by all accounts but who knows.

so it seems.. dont know much about him..?

strange how it was done though, sparky obviously knew by his reaction at the end clapping the fans.. shame really, showed great dignity as always.. not the worst city manager by a long shot.. a bit disappointed he's gone, but I can undertsand why.. out of his depth?.. the defense becoming a shambles.. was surprised they didnt get rid of him at the start of the season tbh..

oh well, its never dull supporting city thats for sure! :suspect:

villa man here, and im very pleased how things are going for us at the moment, i just hope our small squad deosnt come unstuck, but just shows what british players does for a team and that you dont have to buy 1 player from every country to do well.

i admire oneil for the way he has gone about transforming villa using english players

thought our performance against leeds today - no evra, vidic, fletcher, carrick valencia a second half sub plus neville was dire so rafael would of been a better choice, not what i would call full strength but hey im not taking anything away from leeds performance they played well and we didnt show up not for the first time this season.

lets hope the westham arsenal game can cheer me up a bit :(
