I'm in the middle of building a website for myself.... I have seen some really cool fonts used in the past and assumed that they all come as standard with CS3 etc. How wrong was I! I'm limited to what seems the standard bunch of fonts in CS3, boring as hell.

Where do people get these fonts from? Are they downloaded, paid for or what?

Sorry if I sound ignorant, I just want some fonts!
 
Ohh thanks, is there a way to download a load of them at once or do you have to do them individually?

Another one here

Most of the free font sites will let you download x amout at once, but they will normally charge you for the privilage. 1 by 1 is the way to go if you want them for free.
 
If the fonts are used in text format they'll only be seen on the website if the visitor has the font installed on their computer, they'll be replaced by a standard windows font unless the font is converted to a graphic image.
