I need help on picking a good font to put on my work.

All of the ones that i seem to like, always seem to be inappropriate to my friends. None of them been photographers, I don't really listen, but i have realized if they see it like that then a lot of other people in the world will see them like that.

If anyone could give me some pointers it would be much appreciated! :)

Heres the Font i am currently Using:

Courier New - qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm QWERTYUIOPASDFGHJKLZXCVBNM 1234567890

That font seems a bit hard and severe to my eye.

Generally a sans serif font is more comfortable to read for the majority of the population, especially for those with reading difficulties such as Dyslexia.

Appropriate fonts are difficult. It can be a battle between individual style and the ordinary. ;)

Thanks, much appreciated.

As above with regard to preference and using a sans serif font, but can I also suggest if you wish to use Courier New you might like to look at using it in bold. This would thicken it up a little and make it easier on the eye to read.

I'll keep it in mind thanks' :)

serif fonts are for continuous text; readable at small sizes.
The little lines at the end of each stroke help keep your eye in line
It has been said if you only have the little lines you can still read it.

sans-serif display fonts, suitable for headings.

This is how most publishers use them
Check out any paper or magazine
PS I am dyslexic and the serif fonts are best to read in body text.

Thank's Chaz, I think that teh Sans fonts will help alot for all people! :)
