So, we're going on holiday to the S of France for a week, staying with some friends who live there. Travelling in my MGF so I've been put on "not enough luggage room" watch. It'll be fine really.:bang:
But what camera kit to take? Well, it's not just me and a camera by mesel', it's the two of us and our very generous hosts spending time together (no vicar, not like that!) so it's a case of not being overburdened on the journey or whilst there. So,
>The Canon DSLR kit isn't going.
>Mamiya 645 kit isn't going - just too bulky.
>I've bought back an old friend a Panasonic LX3 which is a very competent wide-ish angle pocket er... digital  which would give me flash options.
>I'm thinking one, possibly two Olympus OM system bodies, probably OM4s, one to load b&w, one to load colour but I'm going to have to carry only one with me when we're there.
>OM lenses:I'm expecting a week of town/village/things going on in the same/us four/you two/us two so I'm ruling out telephotos as a bit too niche so it's either the 50mm 1.4 and 28mm or I've got this quite ugly Oly 28mm-48mm f/4.. or possibly throw the 135mm in with the 28mm?
>Obviously spare batteries, film in b&w and colour and/or batteries & charger, memory cards.
Might one camera be enough? Well if we were flying down it might have to be.
Is two cameras about right? If so, should they both be fillum?
